NetJets Pricing 2026

Jet card costs, fractional ownership fees, and hourly rates — everything you need to understand what NetJets actually costs.

How NetJets pricing works

NetJets offers three access models, each with a different cost structure. The right choice depends on how often you fly and how much capital you want to commit upfront.

Jet cards are the most popular option — you prepay for 25+ hours at a fixed rate and use them within 12–24 months. No ownership, no management fees, just flight hours.

Fractional ownership means buying a share (typically 1/16th) of a specific aircraft type. You get guaranteed access, potential tax benefits, and a residual value when you sell — but you also pay monthly management fees whether you fly or not.

Lease programmes offer short-term access (1–3 years) with lower upfront costs than fractional, but limited flexibility and availability guarantees.

Fractional ownership — the full cost picture

The purchase price is just the beginning. Monthly management fees and occupied hourly rates add significantly to the total annual cost.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a NetJets 25-hour card cost?

A NetJets 25-hour jet card costs between $160,000 and $325,000 depending on the aircraft category. Light jets (Citation XLS) start around $160,000, midsize jets around $200,000, super-midsize (Challenger 350) around $240,000, and heavy jets (Challenger 650) can exceed $300,000. These prices include fuel surcharges but exclude taxes, landing fees, and catering upgrades.

What does NetJets fractional ownership cost?

A 1/16th fractional share (approximately 50 flight hours per year) costs $500,000+ for light jets and over $1,000,000 for heavy jets. On top of the purchase price, you pay monthly management fees ($10,000–$25,000/month) and occupied hourly rates when flying. The total annual cost is often $200,000–$400,000+ beyond the initial purchase.

How much does NetJets cost per hour?

NetJets occupied hourly rates range from approximately $2,500–$4,000/hr for light jets to $5,000–$8,000/hr for heavy jets (fractional). Jet card rates are higher at $6,400–$13,000/hr because there’s no aircraft purchase.

Are there hidden costs with NetJets?

Common additional costs include: fuel surcharges (variable, can add 10–20%), peak-day surcharges (holidays, major events), federal excise tax (7.5% on US domestic), segment fees, international handling charges, premium catering, and overnight crew charges. Management fees on fractional shares continue even in months you don’t fly.

Is NetJets cheaper than VistaJet?

It depends on the route and model. NetJets jet card rates can be cheaper per hour for US domestic flights. VistaJet Programme rates are often more competitive for European and international routes, and VistaJet has no ownership or management fees. Our concierge can model both options for your routes.

What is the cheapest way to fly NetJets?

The most affordable NetJets product is the 25-hour jet card on a light jet (Citation XLS or Phenom 300E), starting around $160,000. However, if you fly fewer than 25 hours per year, ad-hoc charter is significantly cheaper per trip with no commitment.
