  • Guaranteed availability (24–48hr notice)
  • Access to your chosen aircraft category
  • Upgrade to larger aircraft at premium rates
  • 12–24 month validity

Own a share of the aircraft

Fractional Ownership

$500,000 – $1,500,000+

1/16th share (~50 hrs/year) · Monthly: $10,000 – $25,000

  • Strongest availability guarantees
  • Lower occupied hourly rates
  • Owner services and events
  • Multi-year commitment (typically 5 years)

Best for: Frequent flyers (50+ hours/year) who want ownership benefits and are comfortable with significant capital commitment.

Short-term access

Lease

  • Lower upfront cost than fractional
  • Access to a specific aircraft type

Frequently asked questions

What are the NetJets membership options?

NetJets offers three access models: jet cards (prepaid 25+ flight hours at fixed rates), fractional ownership (buy a 1/16th or larger share of a specific aircraft), and lease programmes (short-term access with lower upfront costs). Jet cards are the most popular option.

How much is a NetJets 25-hour card?

A 25-hour jet card costs between $160,000 (light jets like Citation XLS) and $325,000+ (heavy jets like Challenger 650). The price includes fuel surcharges but excludes taxes, landing fees, peak-day surcharges, and premium catering.

How much is a NetJets 50-hour card?

A 50-hour jet card typically costs between $300,000 and $600,000+ depending on the aircraft category. The per-hour rate is usually 5–10% lower than the 25-hour card.

What does NetJets fractional ownership include?

A fractional share (typically 1/16th) gives you guaranteed access to your aircraft type for approximately 50 hours per year. The purchase price ($500,000–$1,500,000+) is upfront, plus monthly management fees ($10,000–25,000) and occupied hourly rates when you fly.

Can I upgrade my NetJets membership?

Yes. Jet card holders can purchase additional hours or upgrade to a larger aircraft category. Fractional owners can purchase additional shares. You can also fly on larger aircraft categories at premium rates for specific trips.

How does a NetJets card compare to VistaJet?

Both offer prepaid flight hours with guaranteed availability. Key differences: NetJets offers fractional ownership (VistaJet does not), VistaJet includes repositioning fees, and VistaJet offers a more consistent cabin experience with its all-Bombardier fleet.
